Front and Rear Halfshafts Replacing for Toyota car models?

The details mentioned below are for both Toyota Land Cruiser and Toyota Sequoia car models.


Halfshafts
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION Step by step instructions with diagrams is as follows :---


  1. Remove or disconnect the following: 

    Front wheel
    Brake caliper
    Grease cap
    Snapring
    Wheel speed sensor and wire harness
    Steering knuckle arm
    Lower ball joint
    Upper ball joint
    Steering knuckle
    Axle halfshaft

To install:

NOTE
Use new split pins, snaprings and circlips for assembly.

  1. Install or connect the following:

    Axle halfshaft
    Steering knuckle
    Upper ball joint. Tighten the nut to 81 ft. lbs. (110 Nm).
    Lower ball joint. Tighten the nut to 117 ft. lbs. (159 Nm).
    Steering knuckle arm. Tighten the bolts to 108 ft. lbs. (147 Nm).
    Wheel speed sensor and wire harness
    Snapring
    Grease cap
    Brake caliper
    Front wheel
  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions section.
  2. Remove or disconnect the following:

    Front wheel
    Under cover
  3. Drain the differential oil.
  4. Remove or disconnect the following: 

    Grease cap
    Cotter pin and lock cap
    Halfshaft locknut by applying the brakes
    Lower control arm from the lower ball joint
    Halfshaft from the steering knuckle, using a plastic hammer
    Left strut, for the left halfshaft
    Right halfshaft, using a brass bar and a hammer
    Left halfshaft, using tools 09520-01010 and 09520-24010
    Snapring from the inboard joint shaft

To install:
  1. Install or connect the following:
    WARNING
    Be careful not to damage the oil seal, boot or dust seal.



    New snapring, onto the inboard joint shaft with the opening facing downward
    Halfshafts to the differential using a brass bar and a hammer
    Halfshafts to the steering knuckles



    Lower control arm to the lower ball joint using a new cotter pin. Torque the ball joint nut to 103 ft. lbs. (140 Nm).
    Halfshaft locknut by applying the brakes. Torque the nut to 173 ft. lbs. (235 Nm).
    Lock cap and a new cotter pin
    Grease cap
  2. Refill the differential with oil.
  3. Install or connect the following:

    Under cover
    Front wheel
