Central locking not working on 2000 hyundai accent?

This is how the system operates .....
Each front door lock actuator sends a signal to the ETACM (electronic time and alarm control module) as to whether the door is locked/unlocked.  If the signal sent is in error (an intermittently open or shorted switch in the actuator), this could cause the ETACM to continue to try to lock the doors.

Its issue with door lock actuator.
The part in driver's door that controls the central locking system would be the door lock actuator.

The other possibility can be relay or fuse.
The fuse located under dash fuse box.
See the diagram shown below :----
Check fuse number 1,2 ,6,7 and 10.

The relay is under the drivers dash cowling (cover under the steering column.)
There is usually a timer module on these cars. That will be a little black box about the siz of a wallet.
If you hold this and activate the central locking, you should be able to feel it click inside.

What happens, is the switching mechanism inside the control module can begin to hold on the door actuators for too long which then begins to draw alot of current, hence blowing the fuse.

In one of the same case the problem was as follows :----

The client checked actuator/motor assembly and the problem turned out to be a nylon washer that sits between the contacters when the motor turns the locking cog it was out of position and made for a bad contact got it fixed. And all works ok.

This details will help.
Thanks.
